Joint Commission looking for comments on surgical errors universal protocol 

The Joint Commission is accepting comments on proposed revisions to its 2009 National Patient Safety Goals and universal protocol for preventing surgical errors.

 

According to the commission, the changes are intended to clarify language and focus on those issues that are of highest priority to safety and quality. For more information or to submit comments online, visit The Joint Commission Web site.
