NQF releases framework for preventing, managing pressure ulcers

Noting the “unacceptable rates” at which pressure ulcers occur in health care facilities, the National Quality Forum (NQF) has released an evidence-based draft framework for assessing the prevention and management of pressures ulcers at both the facility and practitioner levels across the continuum of care.
