HHS to host Webinars on ‘dry run’ of AHRQ hospital quality measures

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality will host Webinars March 27 and April 1 to review the national 'dry run' of nine AHRQ measures to be added to the Hospital Compare Web site in December. CMS yesterday sent hospital QualityNet administrators a memo on how to access the events. The AHA encourages hospital staff who work on quality reporting issues to attend the Webinars and share their feedback. As previously reported, hospitals have until April 2 to review and download hospital-specific reports from the "dry run" at My QualityNet, and submit questions and comments to ahrqdryrunbrandeis@brandeis.edu.
